Basic needs

two years ago [almost three] when i was leaving officially my teens, i thought it was time for me to try the 'french woman's closet' you know, just your basic basics…
it was too boring, and i needed some spice and fun to my everyday ensembles, so i filled my life with unpractical closet full of nothing to wear…
and when those days can't quite admit a deconstructed piece of art i resort to my 'not' so basic basics.

hace dos años [casi tres] en los que dejaba mis años adolescentes, crei que era tiempo para intentar el 'closet de la mujer francesa'; ya saben, solo los básicos de básicos…
era muy aburrido, necesitaba algo de drama y diversión a mis prendas diarias; entonces llene mi vida de un closet lleno de cosas cero practicas que me llevan al tipica crisis de 'no tengo que ponerme'
y cuando esos dias no pueden admitir esa pieza de arte de-construida, me albergo en mis 'no tan' básicos.

 

however, the endless quest for the perfect black skinny jean seems to have found a surprise… 

found these pants at Sams [of all places] for a ridiculous amount of 'nothing' because of the fabric [it stretches where its appreciated and it squeezes where it needs to be squeezed], the cut [not too long, im only 5'6"] and de details [and you must know, i really live for those tiny little things] 

voilà, now i need to get like 5 pairs…

sin embargo, la búsqueda incesante para el pantalon de pitillo negro perfecto se topo con una grata sorpresa…

encontre estos en Sams [de todos los lugares] por una muy accesible cantidad y con una tela perfecta [se estira donde se agradece, y aprieta donde debe], el corte [no de piernas tan largas porque mido menos de 1.70] y los detalles [deben de saber que de verdad, vivo por esas cositas pequeñas]

y voilà, ahora tengo que ahorrar para comprar 5 pares…

basic white T [with a twist, just like the burgundy one from Massimo Dutti]  +  basic black skinny jeans [got them at Sams which is a wholesale shop, the brand is their own Tasso]  +  basic black pumps [Maison Martin Margiela]  +  black clutch [Dior, from the beauty counter]  +  everyday basic frames [Chanel 3213 eyeglasses]  +  go-to elegant dark nail polis [Chanel Black Satin]  +  simple jewelry [of course this is non-sense; the Dior tag necklace is from a bag which i dont wear and found a better use for it… the mixed metals random bracelets… CK pyramid ring… random gold rings]
