maybe brands deliver credibility, they justify our bad/good taste [that's relative…]
but if i were to justify my hoarder problems, i would say the obvious:
the quality and the intricate manipulation of art as fashion.
i, in a way, don't care for the label for the sake of being a fancy label;
and making sure it tells, it screams it was made in France and retailed for a couple of hundreds…
that thought makes me cringe.
fashion never interested me for being trendy and accepted by the norm as a dress code.
i found so romantic the story the objects told, the silhouettes, the materials… they all implied a process.
and maybe it's true, i don't collect fashion. i like to hoard art.
