when in ICFF

the main reason for me to go to NY was the ICFF (international contemporary furniture fair), we had to go 2 days because it was just too much and u can get to a point where u stop enjoying the amazing pieces there... and we were also damn hungry...
one of the things that caught my attention were this tiles... they are graphic aggressive, but they are not "meant" for us visual ables... they have texture and braille for blind people... 

in this booth they were doing the final touches... and i liked it that it seemed like they just ran out f time and the artist still doing it with passion and not russed...

this lamps... cardboard... need i say more?

whoahhh this was meere interaction design... u play with it till u get bored... and believe me i had to stop because they where looking at me like "kid have u had enough now?!" but yeah... i was having fun...

awwwww this color scheme!!! so neutral and chilshish and innocent and relaxing and dreammy and idk i loved this... the new shades for EAMES chairs

yeah... everybody thinks they can design... and let me tell u, design is not just making something look pretty... its a whole process what defines aesthetics, and many many things but not just i thought this might look cute because i like this!!! sTOp!!! 

ohh yeah! GOOD DESIGN... or DESIGN FOR GOOD perhaps...

so recycling doesnt mean it has to look like it was taken out of the trash bin... 
lamps made out of pet bottles... i'm not very in awe with the flowery first 2 but the 3rd was much more interesting...

loved the whole concept for them to be building the lamps... in a factoria!!! 
this lamps are quite amazing... because they are lightweight, packed flat in a box for a efficient shipping, easy to built, my friend got one, and we bought the special edition small one for a friend. 

this photo makes me proud... because i was TIRED and maybe that was why i was feeling a little bit bored with the same same same stuff... or i was feeling like that and i saw this bootth with little plastic soldiers... and they made my hour!

i love the outcome of this photo too... next buy, THIS LAMPS!!!

i dont know what this booth was about, nor i care, but i loved the, again, acrylic look...

i just regret not doing my own chair... i was just tired u see, but it was a great opportunity to sit and draw...

this i saw in an add of FRAME magazine before going to new york, but to be honest i never thought they were glossy!!! i was not very much into that maybe because i just dont know im rambling and no i just didnt liked it glossy there i said it!

i like my photo!!! and loved the fact that they had done this lamp with amazing quality!!! look at the way they assembled this porcelain with the metal and ohh i loved this piece.
