'tricking the eye' technique aims to shock the viewer… play with perception.
now, we are so used to everything, we have seen everything and nothing surprises us anymore…
maybe that's why i love pieces from archives [aka vintage] because they represent the real thoughts put into the creation of them, when there was nothing made like this before… true intellect.

la técnica de 'engañar al ojo' busca chocar al espectador… jugar con su percepción.
ahora, estamos tan acostumbrados a todo, hemos visto de todo y nada nos sorprende mas…
es por eso que me encantan las piezas de archivo [o sea antiguas/viejas] porque representan los pensamientos que se proyectaron en ellas, cuando nada se había hecho antes así… intelecto puro.

the mirror lenses… now they are everywhere, but a couple of years ago they where a big no-no…

the same thing with metallic leather, iridescent materials and Swarovski crystals.
