Dia de muertos

as i've mentioned before... i'm mexican... and to be honest i did not know how unique and special my culture was until i learnt about others and that's what made me so keen to ancient traditions... like the day of the death which is so simple yet complex... i mean complex because its filled with symbolisms and its now a mix between catholic and prehispanic beliefs... i'm not going to get into all that because i might skip or mention some non-official facts... in the mean time i just wanna share some photos i took while buying this 'alfeñiques' sugar candy sculptures that are placed on the altar...
